Pets are welcome but must be on a lead at all times. Please also note that Buster (our Big Tuna mascot boxer dog) is the only dog not on a lead as 8 Snapper Road is his home.

House Rules

+ Aggressive or disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated + The Big Tuna team reserves the right to ask anyone to leave the property at any time, for any reason + No smoking or vaping + Tables are all communal + Corkage fees may apply + If you bring food a plating fee applies per person + No scaling or gutting fish on site + Clean your table before you leave and place rubbish in the bins provided.

Our Future Plans for the Community

We want to be a hub for: + Fisho's & Spero's clubs to hold award nights and training. + FreeDiving training + Cooking classes. We hope to partner with local suppliers to showcase items like boats, caravans, moto bikes, camping & fishing gear, etc. all with the key focus of giving people another reason to chat with a stranger about their next trip. There are plans to create a DIY build area, giving members a place to share their knowledge and help out a friend with projects like building a 12v system to your 4x4 or canapy or wiring up that new Minkota on your boat. Please feel free to let us know if you have any great ideas, what items you would love to see displayed or what kind of DIY workshops interest you most.

Our Story

As a husband and father I wanted to build a family-friendly, inclusive space where people could hang out and talk about anything outdoors from fishing to hunting. The Big Tuna idea has developed over time, and I'm sure it will keep evolving, but we wanted to create an environment that supported like-minded people all ages who can share their experiences, learn from each other and have a great time as part of an awesome community, To help break the ice we have created common areas and offer activities such as: + Catch & Cook BBQ area + Cafe/Bar coming soon + The shared fire pit + Kid play areas + Table tennis + Topographic map in hard copy + Retail display store + Experienced, knowledgable staff
